It pitters. It patters. It’s hard to see past the gray, hazy skies of January, and remember a warmer time. My feet are cold, my tissue box has become my dearest friend, and I’m stuck inside a classroom full of second-graders all day long. I’m not complaining or anything. But I am turning to my photo library for some inspiration on this dreary Friday.

OH – how close was I to posting on Waikiki today – for such similar reasons! Love the feeling of almost reaching paradise as I scroll through your post. Great theme – and good luck with the second graders! We’ve all got bug, you are not alone.
Nice view and in fact transport me to paradise as well.
I love to go back to our vacation photos once in a while as well.
My biggest complaint with January here is that it vaguely reminds me of November. I could embrace the winter if we got winter…and then be ready for the heat of summer when it got here
wonderful. sometimes during winter months, if we can see pictures of paradise, easier to picture paradise.
Great pictures to remind us that warmer, sunnier times are ahead! I am about over this weather as well and was so thrilled when the sun peeked out of the clouds and my thermometer read 70 degrees today! It isn’t supposed to last, but man it helped my spirits!
Love the photos! All three are places I would much rather be than in a cold and gray Chinese city!
Uh! I agree. I am sitting here watching the rain fall yet again and as much as I love the rain I need a bit of a warm up already! I am just not made for winter.
